There was shade in the pull through area. Each site has a picnic table. The sewer hose must be off the ground per a county ordinance. The bathroom and shower area are clean and proximate to the pool which is approximately 24 feet wide by 40 feet long. We utilized the camp-club rate. The resort is clean and well managed with an adjoining area for people who have bought lots. Cable TV worked well and the water pressure was adequate. Electricity was in the pull through area, and the street and site are paved. There are limited pull through sites. Nearby is Kartcher Caverns, which is a must see. I would stay here again and would like to stay longer next time.
Arrived on a whim from I-10 Eastbound off on Hwy 60. Large facility with entrance and parking on gravel. Clean, neat and well cared for park. This park has very few occupants, mostly park models and permanent trailers, 5th wheels and older motorhomes. The areas around each is very nicely landscaped with desert flora. The office is closed at 1:00 pm so payment is on the honor system. Fill out an envelope and identify your payment method. There is a box outside the office just off the highway to deposit your payment. The pull throughs are absolutely huge. There are pedestals at one end of the pull through, so you are limited on position within the space by the length of your electric and sewer lines. Power is good, cable TV is limited but adequate for an evenings entertainment. The rate includes a Good Sam / AAA discount. This was just an overnight for us, but I would like to come back to explore what the surrounding area has to offer. When you look at their web site, you have much more that could keep a family busy for a week or so. I can't comment on how friendly the people are, we didn't run into anyone during the brief stay. Would definitely come back to explore again.
Price of $30 included $2 for air conditioning and $2 for Wi-Fi. Park is all dirt and gravel. Pull through sites are easy to get into and are very long. Pedestal placement is rather odd as it faces the next site. Wi-Fi kept dropping us. Pet area identified, but did not look any different than any other area. Situated right off I-95 between two mountain ranges. Apparently this is the place to come if you like to dirt bike or ATV. Only TV available is over the air out of Reno. Has two clothes washers and dryers circa the 70's. OK for overnight stay. Site has a large picnic table. The site was level.
Basic gravel parking lot adjacent to I-95 on the northbound side of the road. Southbound approaching the park, there is very little warning of the turn off the highway. Even going 55 it was tuff to slow the horses down enough to make the turn without overshooting it. I suggested to the manager that they put a warning sign 1/4 mile south of the driveway to warn us about the driveway. We were promptly greeted by a friendly and helpful manager. This is a small park, but one has to compare with what else is available in the area. They take Campclub USA and the rate reflects the half price offered by that membership. We were guided to our site, shown all the hookups and helped in our set-up process. The utility pedestals are of the newer style, in very good shape, and well placed within the pull-through sites. We requested and received the 50 amp service and I have noticed my gauges showing 109 AC volts on each of the legs, each time I checked them throughout the day, even with both air conditioning units running. There are brick and log partitions between the sites which I find simple and attractive. The sites are ample wide for slides and long for 40 ft motorhome and tow car. There is only one site that has direct shade, with a class C pulled in there. There is no shade at any of the other sites but the park is lined along the highway with trees which provided shade across my site as the sun moved west later in the day. We looked at the other parks in Beatty, and even this spartan location appears a better choice then the competition. For overnight stays I would recommend it.
We stayed for 11 nights and used our AAA discount. Our spot was a pull-through long enough for our 40 foot RV and our SUV. It was very hot during our stay in Red Bluff and I sure enjoyed the very large swimming pool with 2 lap lanes. The main club house had a computer, large screen TV, gas fireplace, several nice card tables and lots of beautiful leather overstuffed chairs and sofas. Adjacent was a dining area with kitchen for groups. The showers and bathroom were clean, The laundry area was also clean with Maytag appliances. The only down side to this park is its proximity to Interstate 5. While you couldn't hear the highway inside the RV you sure could outside. Nevertheless we would stay here again.
Excellent park with all the amenities. The best approach is from Hwy 50 to SR 49 to Hwy 88. Highway 49 from I-80 is difficult for big rigs so seriously consider Hwy 50 to reach the RV Park. Dalton Road does not show up on most navigation programs, but it is in Google now although incomplete. The address says New York Ranch Road, but that takes you to the casino, and it is round about to get to the RV Park. The rate shown is for a group/club that attended this weekend. Wifi is excellent and accessible from anywhere in the park. They provide four access channels, the one with the greatest range is 802.1b, but there are three 802.1g channels with less range. We used the clubhouse for our chapter meetings, it holds up to 100 people. Free coffee available all the time, free USA today newspaper. The kitchen area has microwave, refrigerator, oven, 4 burner stove top and multiple sinks. There is a guest barbeque area near the pool with a large outdoor gas grill. The pool at it's deepest is 4 1/2 feet but adequate for a cool dip. There are two outdoor spas that are heated and feel great!!! All areas are sparkling clean, well kept. I see maintenace being done constantly, nothing is left to go bad. I will definitely come back and recommend it anyone who likes nice surroundings.
Visited over a weekend with a club so there were 30 plus rigs of every size participating. Pull through sites are plentiful, but they are close together, with shared utility pedestals, and side by side water hookups. Just adequate room to roll out slides. The sites are paved as well as the roads, mostly one big parking lot. Easy access from Highway 152 into the park. Club house is well suited to large groups and if your club has members who are without an RV the motel is adjacent to the RV park. Mens rest room facilities was under construction and unavailable. It is a theme park with fruit stands, candy stores, wine store, a miniture railroad and carousel for childrens enjoyment. I would stay here again for a group/club event.
